Our Mission
Welcome to the Rolling Hills Middle School in El Dorado Hills parent website! The Rolling Hills Middle School (RHMS) parent group is called Friends of Rolling Hills (FORH). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
We operate similar to a PTA/PTO with a purpose of providing organizational and financial support of RHMS. FORH was created to facilitate parent involvement at RHMS. FORH works closely with teachers and administrators to achieve success on campus and create a feeling of community. Our goal is to foster a close relationship between home. students, and faculty through parent involvement.
In lieu of major fundraising events, FORH asks parents for donations with an emphasis on the Annual Fund Drive. Your generous support helps fund essential chromebooks/school supplies, programs and events. Funding for Chromebooks is an ongoing cost as their useful life is approximately four years. In order to maintain our Chromebook footprint, we must replace a classroom set of Chromebooks each year.

We meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at 12:45 pm (with a few exceptions). Our next meeting is 10/8/26 (L1)!

What FORH has done for our school over the past years:
- Created Bengal Ninja Warrior Annual Event
- Purchased a class set of textbooks for each subject, so students have a class and home set for use- no lugging books back and forth
- Donated $ 70,000 for Chromebooks
- Donated funds for teacher supplies ($100 per teacher, per year)
- Provided funds for the Gym mural
- Purchased additional surveillance equipment
- Purchased Chromebooks for Chromebook pilot program
- Purchased books for the Accelerated Reader Program
- Purchased art kiln
- Purchased new Spanish books
- Donated $6,000 towards sound system in MPR & Gym
- Purchased sports equipment for students to play with during their school lunch break
- Purchased Safety Kits in each pod
- Purchased goggle sanitizer for science department
- Provided Merit Awards treats each trimester
- Purchased plants for ADA cleanup campus day
- Donated funds to help with expenses for 8th grade promotion party
- Provided 3 Staff Appreciation Luncheons for wonderful RHMS staff
